Chef Adam Sobel
Adam Sobel is a chef, restaurateur, entrepreneur, and builder of teams driven by one simple belief: hospitality is about how you make people feel. His love of cooking started at home, making meatballs with his Nana and learning early that food is family. That foundation—connection, generosity, pride in craft—still drives everything he does. For Adam, a restaurant isn’t just a place to eat. It’s a stage, a record studio, a gathering place. It’s where energy moves, camaraderie forms, and memories are made.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Adam trained under some of the most respected chefs in the world, sharpening his discipline and technical precision. But what shaped him just as much was the culture of the kitchen—the teamwork, accountability, the shared grind of service. Inspired by sports, music, and art, he approaches every concept like producing a great show: strong leadership, clear vision, relentless standards, and space for creativity.
Over the course of his career, Adam has helped develop and lead some of the country’s most dynamic restaurant programs, earning a reputation not only for bold flavor and live-fire intensity, but for building kitchens that develop talent. Mentorship is central to his identity. He believes great chefs are measured not only by what they cook, but by who they elevate. Many of the cooks and operators he has worked alongside now lead kitchens and brands of their own.
Today, as the founder of Aether Group, Adam is focused on creating soulful, culture-driven concepts that blur the lines between food, music, art, and community. From immersive live-fire restaurants to next-generation fast-casual brands and large-scale hospitality partnerships, his work is rooted in authenticity and built for longevity. Every project is designed with the same intention: build something real, build it with the right people, and make it unforgettable.
That entrepreneurial drive extends beyond restaurants. Adam is the founder of Sobelini Pizza Crunch, a chef-driven CPG brand born from his obsession with bold flavor and texture. What started as a signature finishing touch in his kitchens has evolved into a growing product line designed to bring restaurant-level intensity into home cooking. Sobelini reflects his belief that great flavor should be accessible, fun, and shared — a bridge between professional kitchens and everyday tables. But for Adam, success only matters if it creates impact.
Philanthropy has always been part of his DNA. He proudly supports organizations including The V Foundation, No Kid Hungry / Share Our Strength, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Ava’s Kitchen — lending his time, talent, and platform to help raise funds and awareness for children and families in need. Whether cooking at benefit events, mentoring young talent, or showing up for community initiatives, he believes hospitality extends far beyond the dining room. Beyond the kitchen, Adam is a familiar face on Food Network, appearing on Tournament of Champions, Guy’s Grocery Games, Guy’s Ranch Kitchen, and Chopped. Whether on television, at a charity event, or behind the pass on a Saturday night, he brings the same intensity, warmth, and authenticity. At his core, Adam Sobel isn’t just building restaurants or products. He’s building teams. He’s building culture. And he’s building experiences — and opportunities — that last.
